ERC-20

ERC-20 standard introduced a set of rules for the trading of Ethereum based Tokens. ERC-20 based tokens are issued from the Ethereum Network directly instead of running on the blockchain. ERC-20 standard is widely used by many digital currencies, including Basic Attention Token, OmiseGO, and Augur.
