Numeraire
Numeraire (NMR) is an ERC20 token created in 2017 on the Ethereum blockchain for users to stake their funds on the accuracy of the underlying data models.
Numeraire is best understood as a global AI (Artificial Intelligence) event to predict market outcomes. Competitors submit their predictions weekly in data science tournaments by staking their Numeraire token (NMR). The payout is, therefore, a combination of the accuracy of their predictions as well as their stake. Overall, Numeraire focuses on sharing and decentralization of data.
