Created by Evan Kuo, the Ampleforth protocol can adjust (automatically and fairly) the supply in response to the demand in mere moments, without the need for any intermediaries like banks. It has a unique volatility pattern leading to its recent popularity. However, it is an autonomous (and not decentralized) protocol where the foundation can change token (AMPL) supply or even freeze assets.
