Digital Signature Algorithm (DSA) is an asymmetric cryptographic algorithm widely used to verify and check digital signatures' authenticity.
DSA came as a standard in 1991 for creating digital signatures. In DSA digital signature is comprised of a secret key that entitles the person to the digital data. DSA is mainly used to bind an electronic signature to the text to secure the data in transit.
