Satoshi

Satoshi is the smallest unit of Bitcoin cryptocurrency named after Satoshi Nakamoto, the alleged creator of Bitcoin protocol.

Satoshi represents the tiniest fraction of the Bitcoin unit that is tradeable over the Internet. Each Satoshi is equal to 0.00000001 Bitcoin, a hundredth of a millionth BTC, and each Bitcoin in unit structure is equivalent to 100 million Satoshi's, 1000 millibitcoins, and 1000000 microbitcoins.
