Anonymous developers Chef Nomi and 0xMaki founded SushiSwap in August 2020. This DEX (Decentralized Exchange) comprises different asset pools where each pool includes two individual assets. This DeFi (Decentralized Finance) liquidity pool platform allows users to provide liquidity, and they receive tokens and SUSHI tokens (SushiSwap's native governance token). The SushiSwap protocol shares governance, revenue, as well as control with its users.
